About Me

Marc Komito is a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty in Monmouth County, NJ. Having grown up as the son of a realtor, Marc learned firsthand from his father, Stan (a local agent from 1976 until he passed in 2019), that the secret to success is to always put the person before the transaction.

"My dad was an absolute legend as a real estate agent spanning four decades in Western Monmouth County. His love for real estate and dedication to the profession infused my childhood with a keen understanding of the rewards of hard work and helping others. Long before computers and DocuSign, he was known for personally bringing a contract to a theater on Broadway or a row house in Brooklyn for a signature and he did whatever it took to ensure that every offer was consummated with an executed closing. Stan Komito represented the very best of real estate, and real estate brought out the very best in him. I unfortunately missed the opportunity to work directly with my dad but I look forward to honoring his legacy as well as the community he served with the same 'people first' mentality that made the name Komito synonymous with local real estate."

Marc's greatest joy is connecting with people and he looks to real estate as an opportunity to serve while deepening existing connections and forging new ones. Spending his childhood in Marlboro, summers at Camp Kinder Ring, and college years at the University of Wisconsin, Marc went on to teach high school math while working summers at Camp Westmont where his children, Miles (14) and Landon (10), attend. Marc's sisters, Fara Bono and Erica Boilen, are both lifelong Marlboro residents with their families, and mom Bonnie currently resides in Four Seasons in Manalapan. Along with his wife Diana, also a lifetime resident of Marlboro, Marc has deep roots in the community where he holds both a passion for the local market and a vested interest in its success.

To bring the most value to his clients, Marc has joined The Alan Kurlander Group where there are literally hundreds of years of combined experience that brought almost 250 deals and $150 million in sales to the closing table last year alone. Known for their integrity, trust, work ethic, and business acumen, it was both an easy decision and a natural fit.

If you or anyone you know is buying or selling a home in New Jersey, would like a referral from Coldwell Banker's global network, or would simply like to know what's going on in your neighborhood or have a competitive market analysis done on your home, Marc would be delighted to hear from you.
